Town of Granite Quarry 125th Anniversary

125 Years of History, ONE Incredible Community.

Granite Quarry isn’t just turning a year older, we’re hitting a massive milestone!

While our official birthday is in March, we’re SPRINGING into our 125th Anniversary this April with TWO weekends of history, music, and community spirit! Let’s make this a year to remember!

Parade & Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 4th

We are kicking off the festivities by bringing back a beloved tradition!

  • The Historic ‘GQ Easter Parade’ Revival | 1 p.m.
The parade starts at Depot Street and winds its way to Crook St. Expect floats, candy, the Easter Bunny, and a whole lot of GQ pride!
  • Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Once the parade wraps up, join us at Granite Civic Park — the hunt is on!

Spring Into 125 | Saturday, April 11th | 2-7 p.m.

The celebration continues the following weekend at the iconic Old Stone House. Join us for an afternoon dedicated to the history and future of Granite Quarry.

  • History in Motion: Explore our roots with tours of Granite Quarry’s most significant historical locations.
  • Food & Brews: Enjoy local food trucks and a beer garden to toast to 125 years.
  • The Main Stage: Grab a lawn chair! Our headliner band takes the stage from 5–7 p.m., proudly sponsored by F&M Bank.
