Public Notice of Intent to Donate Surplus Property

Notice is hereby given that it is the intent of the Town of Granite Quarry to donate surplus playground equipment to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. N.C.G.S.§160A-280 authorizes the Town to donate to a nonprofit organization within the United States after advertising and Council approval. The Town Manager has determined that the personal property described above is surplus, obsolete, or unused.

In accordance with N.C.G.S.§160A-280, a public notice has been posted. The donation will be approved through adoption of a resolution during the regular meeting of the Town Council on May 11, 2026.
