NCDOT has an upcoming project (DI00325) to replace 2 bridges over Crane Creek on St Paul’s Church Rd. Starting on Monday January 22nd, 2024 at 8:00AM the Department’s contractor will close St Paul’s Church Rd (SR 2529) between Old Concord Rd (SR 1002) and Heilig Rd (SR 1006). This project is anticipated to be completed and open to traffic by the end of July 2024. During construction the following detour will be in effect (see attached flyer):
- Drivers on Faith Rd, go north approx. 1.5 miles and turn left onto Heilig Rd and then after 1.2 miles turn left onto Old Concord Rd and stay on it for 1.8 miles before reaching the western side of St Paul’s Church Rd. Or vice versa.
